Patina Gallery proudly announces our newest collaboration with founder and designer Ann Ziff of New York jewelry house Tamsen Z.

Founded in 2004, Tamsen Z is the creative “child” of Ann Ziff. In the beginning, she would buy rare stones to create her own original jewelry. From rare Australian black opals to prized Paraiba tourmalines and extraordinary Colombian emeralds, Ann Ziff’s collection has evolved into one of the world’s preeminent collections of privately owned gemstones. Tamsen Z captures the exquisite beauty of these stones in handcrafted pieces that are truly one of a kind.

This summer, Tamsen Z by Ann Ziff and Patina will come together to celebrate our Summer of Opera.

Both Tamsen Z and Patina Gallery are greatly esteemed in the world of the handcrafted and performing arts and have individually harbored long-standing relationships with operatic companies—Tamsen Z with LA Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, among others.

Opalescence brings the love of beauty and art together to create a luscious and breathtaking collection of jewels, exquisitely made for the body.

Tamsen Z and Patina share like-minded dedication and philosophies that all come together into a new, fruitful collaboration. With a connoisseur’s eye for the world’s most exceptional gems, Tamsen Z’s rich and deep appreciation of precious materials combine into singular, sumptuous works of adornment, paired with Patina’s distinct eye for curation, and love and care for the handmade.

Opalescence, Ziff’s newest collection, connects a shared passion of opulent jewels and the poetic drama of opera to capture exquisite beauty. Her works feature starlit treasures, including materials such as effervescent opal, silky moonstone, rare tanzanite and diamond, all eloquently bathed in silver and high karat gold.
