Mosaic eyes are made out of Quartz based ceramic. It is not made of glass. First the clay powder is mixed with water and then it is formed. After it is put in the oven and it is cooked under 1500 C. Finally enamel is used to give the colors.

Resting in a cradle of high karat gold, the form is nicely placed on a textured band of silver.
