Oxidized sterling silver, 18K yellow gold & granulation
The single geometric form to the left is part of a recent series of elements used in O'Connor's hollow fabricated pins. The forms are derived from unique shapes of agate geodes. The geodes are cut in half and then the dimensions are taken from the sides of the form, transferred to sterling silver sheet and formed. This form is then combined with an earthy granulated element, resembling a found shard.
