This magnificent wood vessel, masterfully turned from spalted beech wood to nearly 1/16th of an inch in thickness, represents a feat most turners are unable to accomplish.
Merete extracts elegant form from raw wood, and creates vessels that are so light and delicate that they are rendered translucent. Beneath the orange tint, the volume and appearance of mass is beliedby its near absence of weight.
