Freshwater pearls, 18K yellow, 14K white and shakudo inlaid in 18K rose gold
Circa 1987
Twenty-one touchstones adorn this long strand of freshwater pearls, giving added meaning to this lariat. For Adell, her touchstones had great meaning, meant to resemble precious pebbles and rocks, Adell made each stone by hand, comprised of two sheets of metal using several techniques of marrying shakudo with gold to make poetic pebbles that grace this necklace and every piece in our Contemporary Estate collection.
As shown with: Meandering Shakudo Ring/Pendant, and Medium Fern Earrings.
