Brass & copper watch parts inlaid in shakudo.
Pin: Gold & Steel
Circa 1985
Touchstones had great meaning for the late Carrie Adell. She handmade these to resemble precious pebbles and rocks, Adell made each stone by hand, comprised of two sheets of metal using several techniques of marrying shakudo with gold and the occasional watch parts to make poetic pebbles that grace every piece in our Contemporary Estate collection.
This touchstone is removable and can be worn on a chain around the neck or on this "O" pin.
